- Before serving, rim the edge of the glasses with a lime slice and then dip them in coarse salt to coat.
- Fill the glasses with crushed ice (or a few ice cubes) and set aside.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine the lime juice, pale ale, tequila, Grand Marnier and simple syrup.
- Shake well for 30 seconds and then pour the mixture over the crushed ice.
- Garnish with fresh lime wedges and enjoy.
